Points are accumulated by individual player performances.
Offensive players can gain points in a number of categories.
i.e. Running backs can accumulate points in both rushing and receiving yards.
i.e. Quarterbacks can accumulate points in both passing and rushing yards.

7 points: Touchdowns 30-39 yards 2 points: Safeties
8 points: Touchdowns 40-49 yards  2 points: Interceptions
9 points: Touchdowns 50+ yards 2 points: Turnover Fumble Recoveries
2 points: Two-point conversions 2 points: Field Goals Blocked
2 points: PAT's Blocked
Passing 2 points: Kicks Blocked
1 point: Every 30 yards passing 1 point: Quarterback Sacks
4 bonus points: 300-349 yards
8 bonus points: 350+ yards Yardage Allowed
15 points: Gave up 0-150 yards
Rushing 10 points: Gave up 151-200 yards
1 point: Every 10 yards rushing 7 points: Gave up 201-250 yards
4 bonus points: 125-174 yards 4 points: Gave up 251-300 yards
8 bonus points: 175+ yards
Points Allowed
Receiving 20 points: Shutout
1 point: Each Reception 10 points: Gave up 2-7 points
1 point: Every 10 yards receiving 7 points: Gave up 8-14 points
4 bonus points: 100-149 yards 4 points: Gave up 15-21 points
8 bonus points: 150+ yards 
NFL Win/Loss
Kicking 5 points: NFL Defense Team Win
1 point: Point After (PAT)
5 points: Field Goal
7 points: Field Goals of 40-49 yards  
10 points: Field Goals of 50+ yards
